About Me

I received my training at Branford Hall Career Institute, Branford, Connecticut, undergoing over 900 hours of intense studies in anatomy, physiology, pathologies, and theory along with business training and hands-on experience.  I have studied under the expertise of Charles W. Wiltsie, III (founder of Lypossage and well known in the massage industry), and Fogan Locoh, Lypossage Master Trainer. My GPA was 3.86, graduating with honors.

I earned my certification for infant massage training through the Institute of Somatic Therapy in California.  My training for elderly and medically frail individuals along with instruction on how to work around medical equipment also came from the Institute of Somatic Therapy.

I have recently completed a more in-depth study  entitled "The ABCs of Geriatric Massage" offered by Day-Break Geriatric Massage Institute.  Although the skills learned in this course are primarily to help with the particular issues the older generations suffer with, I have found they are beneficial for every age group; strokes that help with circulation in the legs, some ROM [range of motion] to help keep joints supple and free moving are just two examples.
